We know hate incidents can have a real impact on individuals and communities, and that many incidents go unreported. That’s why we want our customers to know that you can tell your housing provider if you experience or witness hate in your home or neighbourhood.
You don’t need to know whether what happened is a hate crime before contacting your housing provider. We can listen to what has happened, explain what we can do and where appropriate, work with the police or other organisations to provide support and take action.
Reporting also helps housing providers understand what’s happening in our communities, spot repeating problems and take action where we can.
