L&Q

A member of the Manchester Housing Providers Partnership, working together to deliver better housing outcomes across the city.

About L&Q

At L&Q, we are one of the UK’s leading housing associations, providing high-quality, affordable homes for people and communities across the country. We manage more than 105,000 homes and support over 250,000 residents through a wide range of housing and community services. Our work includes social and affordable rent, shared ownership and private rented homes, alongside investment in neighbourhoods and services that help people thrive. With a strong social purpose at the heart of everything we do, we are committed to creating places where people feel secure, connected and supported, while continuing to invest in new homes and sustainable communities for the future.

Our Manchester presence

Greater Manchester is an important part of our growing national presence. Through our development and regeneration activity, we are helping to deliver much-needed affordable housing across the city region while supporting local priorities around growth, sustainability and community wellbeing. We work closely with local authorities, partners and stakeholders to provide homes that meet the needs of local people and contribute positively to neighbourhoods across Manchester and Greater Manchester. Our investment in new homes and communities reflects our long-term commitment to supporting the region’s housing ambitions and creating places where residents can build successful futures.

Supporting our communities

Supporting communities is central to our approach at L&Q. Alongside providing quality homes, we invest in programmes and partnerships that help residents improve their wellbeing, skills and financial resilience. We support people through employment and training initiatives, advice services and projects designed to tackle social isolation and inequality. By working alongside local organisations and community partners, we help create opportunities for residents of all ages and backgrounds. We are committed to reinvesting into homes, services and neighbourhoods so that communities across Manchester and beyond can continue to grow stronger, healthier and more connected.
