Riverside

A member of the Manchester Housing Providers Partnership, working together to deliver better housing outcomes across the city.

About Riverside

At Riverside, we are one of the UK’s largest housing associations, providing homes and support services to more than 75,000 residents across the country. With a history dating back almost 100 years, we are committed to transforming lives and revitalising neighbourhoods through high-quality affordable housing and community investment. We manage a wide range of homes, including social and affordable rent, supported housing, retirement living and shared ownership properties. Alongside housing, we deliver care and support services that help people live independently, improve wellbeing and access opportunities that support long-term success.

Our Manchester presence

Greater Manchester is a key part of our organisation and an important area of investment and partnership working. We manage homes and provide services across Manchester and surrounding boroughs, supporting local communities through affordable housing, regeneration and specialist support services. We work closely with local authorities, health organisations and community partners to respond to housing need and help create sustainable neighbourhoods where people can thrive. Through continued investment in new affordable homes and improvements to existing communities, we support Greater Manchester’s wider ambitions around inclusive growth, wellbeing and housing quality.

Supporting our communities

Supporting communities is at the heart of our work at Riverside. Alongside providing homes, we deliver a wide range of programmes focused on employment, financial resilience, wellbeing and social inclusion. Through Riverside’s support services, we help vulnerable residents, including people experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges or barriers to independent living. We also work with local charities and community organisations to provide opportunities for residents to develop skills, improve confidence and feel connected within their neighbourhoods. By reinvesting into people, homes and places, we continue to create positive social impact and stronger communities across Greater Manchester and beyond.
